Agreement Between User & OCD Lemmonaide

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of peer support services provided by OCD Lemmonaide, a peer support service operated by Summer Lemmon, CMPSS (“I,” “me,” or “my”). These Terms apply to both the OCD Lemmonaide website and any peer support services, communications, or sessions offered through it. By booking, purchasing, or engaging in services, you agree to these Terms.

2. No Medical or Clinical Advice

Peer support is non-clinical and non-therapeutic. Services are based on lived experience with OCD and mood disorders and are intended to provide empathy, encouragement, the sharing of resources, and mutual support.

Peer support does not replace psychotherapy, psychiatry, medical care, or crisis services.

I am not acting as a licensed mental health professional, and no therapeutic, diagnostic, or medical relationship is established. Users should consult licensed professionals for medical or psychiatric guidance. If you are in crisis or danger, contact emergency services immediately. ​

​Any information shared is offered from a peer perspective only and should not be interpreted as medical, psychological, or professional advice.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the OCD Lemmonaide website, you agree to engage respectfully, lawfully, and in alignment with the intended purpose of OCD Lemmonaide.

 

You agree not to:

• Use the site for harassment, abuse, or illegal activity
• Share harmful, explicit, or discriminatory content
• Provide medical advice if you are not qualified
• Impersonate individuals or misrepresent your identity
• Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the site

Violation may result in restricted access at the discretion of OCD Lemmonaide.

OCD Lemmonaide reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if use falls outside the scope of peer support.

4. Community Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe environment, users agree to:

• Engage with kindness and respect
• Avoid explicit or graphic self-harm content
• Not offer medical or diagnostic advice
• Not impersonate or misrepresent themselves
• Avoid hate speech or discriminatory language
• Respect personal boundaries and emotional limits

Access may be removed if guidelines are violated.

5. Age Requirement

Peer support services are offered to adults age 18+ only. I do not provide peer support services to minors.

6. Limitation of Liability

OCD Lemmonaide makes no guarantees of emotional or mental health outcomes. Use of this site is at your own discretion and risk.

 

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site owner is not liable for:

• Emotional distress
• Damages related to site use
• Outcomes resulting from peer support

 

Users are and remain fully responsible for their own wellbeing, decisions, and actions before, during, and after engagement with peer support services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and branding—including the name OCD Lemmonaide—is the property of Summer Lemmon, CMPSS unless otherwise stated.

 

You may:

✔ Share content for personal or educational use with proper credit

You may not:

✘ Copy, sell, distribute, or modify content for commercial use without written permission.

8. Data & Recording Policy

Peer support sessions are not recorded. Brief notes may be taken for continuity of care and are stored securely. Notes are confidential and used only to support ongoing peer support. Users may request deletion of notes unless retention is required for legal or safety reasons.

9. Refund & Payment Policy

Bookings are processed securely through Calendly and payments and refunds are handled through Stripe.

 

Refund terms:

• Full refund for cancellations made 24+ hours before session
• No refund for cancellations within less than 24 hours or no-shows

​

Refunds will be made to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to process.

10. Communication Boundaries & Direct Messages (DMs)

To protect both of us and maintain ethical peer support boundaries, the following DM policy applies:

Appropriate Use of DMs

DMs may be used for:

  • Scheduling or rescheduling

  • Clarifying logistics

  • Brief check-ins related to existing sessions

 

Inappropriate Use of DMs

DMs may not be used for:

  • Ongoing emotional processing or support

  • Crisis communication

  • Clinical questions or treatment guidance

  • Replacing scheduled sessions

 

Response Time
  • DMs are not monitored continuously.

  • Responses may take 24–72 hours.

  • Messages sent outside business hours may be answered on the next business day.

 

Boundaries

If DM use exceeds these boundaries, I may:

  • Redirect the conversation to a paid session

  • Pause or discontinue DM communication

  • Refer you to additional support

 

These boundaries are in place to protect safety, sustainability, and clarity in the peer support relationship.

11. External Links

External links may appear for education and community support. OCD Lemmonaide is not responsible for third-party site content, policies, or outcomes. 

 

Inclusion of external links does not imply endorsement.

12. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of revisions.

13. Crisis & Safety

This platform does not provide crisis intervention.
